Dress Therapy Return Policy

There are 2 online policies: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

1. Formal Wear , Accesssories, Undergarments, and Shoes
2. Everyday Wear (Clothing, Day Dresses)

Formal Wear, Accesories, Undergarments, Shoes:

ALL SALES ARE FINAL, NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES, NO EXCEPTIONS!

Please make sure that you are ordering accurately and correctly. Dress Therapy has a NO refund, return, exchange, or cancellation policy. Formal Dresses are a special occasion item and are special ordered in the size and color you choose. Unfortunately, this means that many may only wear the dress once and then try to return or exchange. Formal wear is essentially a special order / seasonal business and Dress Therapy cannot return the dress to the manufacturer from which the dress was ordered.

Measuring: FORMAL DRESSES RUN DIFFERENTLY IN SIZE THAN YOUR NORMAL CLOTHES! To ensure proper sizing have someone else take your measurements for you, and then use them to compare to the size chart. Remember you are measuring your own size and no refunds, returns, or exchanges will be excepted for measuring incorrectly. To ensure an accurate measurement have someone else take them for you. Be sure to pick the largest of your three measurements (Bust, Waist, Hips). Almost all customers will need Alterations. Dresses come standard length 58"-60" from base of neck to floor, therefore hemming is almost always a must. Any gown that is too long may easily be hemmed (even beaded gowns) by your local seamstress. Straps may also need to be adjusted, especially if you are short waisted. Please remember, dresses are made to the manufacturers measurements in the size chart, and not custom made. If you have questions regarding measuring please feel free to contact us via email. The measurements you give us regarding our policy applies to all items sold on this site including clothing, shoes, and accessories.

Everyday Wear:

Dress Therapy only does returns in the form of an exchange or store credit for items that are labeled as regular priced ready to wear clothing, denim, shirts, jackets, or casual dresses. Exchanges can be completed only if the item is UNWORN, UNALTERED, and UNWASHED with ALL tags attached. Lingerie unfortunately cannot be exchanged or returned due to hygienic reasons. Reduced priced items are processed as all final sales and cannot be exchanged or returned. If an exchange is needed to be made, you must contact Dress Therapy with in 48 hours of receiving your package. Please explain why you are exchanging and you will be issued a Return Authorization Number. Customer assumes all shipping charges. Items returned without a RA# will not be accepted.

We strongly advise that the customer fully inspect their order before removing any tags or discarding any original packaging. To ensure the quality of our items, Dress Therapy cannot accept exchanges of items which do not have all original tags attached. Customers will not receive credit (either in exchange or in store credit) if items are returned missing any original tags.

If you receive a faulty item, you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the item to be eligible for an exchange.
